When will I be charged for a Backorder?
Backorders are charged at the time of placing the order. This secures your place in the queue and locks in the current price. If you change your mind before dispatch, we'll issue a full refund.
I already have a Backorder — what's the status?
We've contacted all customers with existing Backorders individually. If you haven't heard from us, please email
support@jpscissors.com with your order number and we'll give you a specific update.
Can I cancel my Backorder?
Yes — you can cancel anytime before your order is dispatched for a full refund. Just email us with your order number.
Will prices change when new stock arrives?
Due to rising costs from Japanese manufacturers, prices may increase on select models. Backordering now locks in the current listed price.
The model I want doesn't show a Backorder option?
Not all models have Backordering enabled on the product page. Email us at
support@jpscissors.com with the model, size and your details — we'll manually reserve it for you.
How long does shipping take once stock arrives?
Backorders ship via FedEx Priority within 1–2 business days of stock arriving. Most U.S. deliveries arrive within 3–5 business days after dispatch.
