If we choose to fulfil a U.S. order from Japan, Australia, or another approved supply location because of stock availability, brand availability, tariff conditions, or faster routing, that fulfilment choice will not increase the customer’s checkout cost unless an additional charge is clearly shown before payment.
(d)No Surprise Delivery Charges for Eligible U.S. Orders: Where jpscissors.com states that shipping and import handling are included for a U.S. order, Japan Scissors will arrange the shipment so the customer is not charged extra delivery duties because the order shipped from outside the United States. If a carrier or customs authority contacts you about an unexpected import charge on an eligible U.S. order, please contact us before paying where possible so we can review and assist.

5.1Cancellation by Us

5.430-Day Change-of-Mind Returns and Exchanges
(a)We offer change-of-mind returns and exchanges for 30 days after delivery if the process below is followed:
(i)You must contact us within 30 days from the date the Product was delivered to you (Delivery Date) and tell us whether you want a refund, store credit, or exchange.
(ii)We will provide return instructions and an RMA number if the return is approved. For U.S. customers, approved returns are sent to our Laguna Beach, California returns address.
(iii)You must send the Product to the approved return address at your cost unless we confirm the Product is faulty, materially different from your Order, or otherwise eligible for a different return arrangement.
(iv)All returns must include the RMA number, original packaging, accessories, documentation, certificates, and any other items received with the Product.
(v)Returned items are inspected after receipt. We may review condition, packaging, cleanliness, blade condition, accessories, and signs of use.
(vi)Return Condition Assessment:
(vii)If the return is accepted and fees apply, we will issue the refund, store credit, or exchange minus applicable restocking or service fees.
(viii)If you choose an exchange, you may need to pay any price difference between the returned Product and the replacement Product. For U.S. customers, approved exchange shipments are sent at no additional standard shipping cost unless otherwise agreed.

5.7Warranty Coverage vs Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless required by applicable law, clearance items discounted by 40% or more, engraved or personalized scissors, consumables, hygiene-sensitive accessories, used accessories, and shipping protection services may be non-returnable. Bundle deals may require the full bundle to be returned.
